Arbogast Becomes General Manager and Vice President at Ohio WillowWood

Ryan Arbogast, a fourth-generation member of the Arbogast family, has been promoted to general manager and vice president of operations at Ohio Willow Wood. Arbogast will oversee the operations and growth of the privately-held company.

Continuing a family tradition of dedication to helping those with limb loss, Arbogast has a clear vision of how the company should move forward to maintain its flagship role in the orthotic and prosthetic industry.

“It is quite an honor to assume this leadership role at Ohio Willow Wood,” commented Arbogast, a 2003 graduate of The Ohio State University’s renowned Fisher business college. “I’m excited about the possibilities; about how Ohio Willow Wood can refine our focus to best serve clinicians and their patients. My intention is to leverage the company’s longstanding workforce, vision and mission to drive the success of Ohio Willow Wood in a challenging time for our industry. ”

Ryan Arbogast began working at Ohio Willow Wood as a teenager in the company’s knitting department while the company still produced Sterling Socks. After working summers throughout his high school and college years, Arbogast joined the company full-time in 2003 in the information technology department. Since that time Arbogast has worked in and managed various departments including the production of prosthetic feet and most recently the OMEGA® Tracer® department.
