WillowWood Announces New Board Member
WillowWood Global LLC and DW Healthcare Partners have appointed an additional member to the WillowWood board of directors. Elbert “Bert” Harman, former President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Ottobock North America, will serve as an independent member on the company’s board, lending his industry knowledge and expertise to facilitate strategic growth.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have Bert join us,” shared Mahesh Mansukhani, WillowWood CEO. “Bert is one of the strongest leaders I have come across within the orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) industry and has a proven track record. For a time, we served on the AOPA board together which was where I gained a good sense of his capabilities and his strong thought process. Having Bert join us will be a great asset.”
During a portion of his 42-year career, Harman served as president and CEO of Ottobock North America from 2000 through 2011. He retired from the medical device industry in 2016 after serving as president and CEO of Data Sciences International, a leader in implantable telemetry devices used in both pharmaceutical and medical device research. As an independent member of the WillowWood board, Harman will apply his expertise towards strategy, execution oversight, and key relationships.

The WillowWood Global LLC board is comprised of the company’s executive leadership and members of DW Healthcare Partners (DWHP). Focusing exclusively on healthcare businesses, DWHP is a private equity investment firm based in Toronto, Ontario, and Park City, Utah. The firm acquired a majority position in WillowWood on June 6, 2019.

Harman resides in Venice, Florida, with his wife Debi.
