XtremityTT – DIY Sockets

The Xtremity Socket System’s unique carbon-reinforced polymer is precision machined to create socket Preforms – which the prosthetist can heat-adjust shape and assemble in about one hour. Practitioners can also make post-delivery adjustments in a matter of minutes.
The thermoformable material leads to fewer remakes and ease of adjustment delivering significant efficiency gains and eliminating the requirement for a large fabrication footprint. The socket assembly process also replaces traditional lamination processes leading to freedom from the carbon itch associated with traditional socket manufacturing processes.

The system is currently available across 7 socket preform sizes compatible with multiple suspension options.
